Arturia Polybrute - Custom Patches (No Talking) - Basses, Arpeggiations, Huge Pads, Leads, and Drums
Переглядів 26 тис.3 роки тому
100% Arturia Polybrute with no external FX. As I was creating each patch, I'd often find that one would remind me of a certain classic synthesizer. So I leaned in and tried to capture the vibe of the original instrument including a Roland Jupiter 6, Juno 60, D-50, and SH-101, a Yamaha DX7, an Elka Synthex, and a few classic Oberheims. They're not trying to be exact copies or anything.
The Castle - Song created using all 12 Behringer synthesizers
Переглядів 3,3 тис.4 роки тому
I used all 12 Behringer synthesizers for this (as of June 2020). I also used the RD-8 for drums and an Alesis Andromeda for the choir (I didn't have the VC-340 so I recreated it the best I could). Parts: 1) Intro Bass Synth ( 0:00 - 0.40 ) - Pro-1 2) Hollow Ghost Lead ( 0:29 - 0:44 ) - K-2 (MS20 Clone) 3) Brassy Pad ( 0:44 - 0:59 ) - Poly D 4) Resonant Pulse ( 0:59 - 1:13 ) - MS-1 (SH-101 Clone...
Review: Behringer MS-1 Synthesizer + VC-340 Vocoder w/ Roland SH-101 Comparison MS-101 MS101 VP330
Переглядів 30 тис.4 роки тому
Here's a review of the Behringer MS-1, a clone of the Roland SH-101, and the VC-340, a clone of the Roland VP-330 Vocoder Plus. I have an SH-101 so I could compare the MS-1 with the original, but I couldn't find a VP-330 in time. I have used one, so at least I'm somewhat familiar with it.
Roland Jupiter 6 and Jupiter 8 - Comparing Similar Patches (No FX)
Переглядів 10 тис.5 років тому
I had a couple hours to compare a Jupiter 6 and a Jupiter 8 at the Vintage Synth Museum. I didn't have enough time to dial in the sounds as closely as I would have liked, and since the monitor in the studio was closer to the Jupiter 6, I inadvertently made the 8 a bit brighter than it should have been. But I think it does show some of the tone difference between the two.
Roland Jupiter 6 - Pure Analog Goodness - No FX or Processing
Переглядів 13 тис.5 років тому
Just a few patches on the ol' Jupiter 6. While it certainly lacks the silky smooth pads and warmth of its big brother (the Jupiter 8), I think it can still sound great. Bright, brassy, and bold.

Prophet '08 Review by Inside Synthesis - Part 1
Great demo!
That rocks
Do you have a video with just the Moroder cover? It'd be a great wakeup alarm.
All four are nice, the Beats would be least valuable but still that stutter effect is nice. RD6 for sure the better drum machine. Just buy both bass synths.
I have them both and Juno 106. They are different machines used for different things. I like the JX3P as an all rounder. The JX8P is great for pads. I like the Juno for bass, horn stabs and pads.
I've learned more from this vid than from any other vid conserning the Matrix of Polybrute ! Thanks
Different people, different taste etc. etc. but to me most of these sound waaaay better than a lot of the factory presets 👌👍. Anyways, I got the patches, now I just need $5000 bucks 🥳
Perfection
How easy is it to turn off velocity and after touch on these? I’ve been considering one myself, but would have a hard time with the keyboard effects since my OBXa (and Jupiter 8) didn’t have them, also is there a way to use my old OBXa patch banks that are still on cassette with this? Some kind of converter? Thanks
People who own a OBXa and Jupiter8 should be able to recreate patches on the fly...
Super easy -- there are buttons on the main panel to turn on/off velocity and aftertouch. Amazingly, yes, you can import sounds from earlier instruments via a retro input feature.
Great sounds !!! 👍 and musics, Beautiful synth ! I love the melody at 1:56 😊
8 is A 6 is B
Absolutely stunning and gorgeous ! One of the best patch vidéo I've seen among every synths ! Pure honey for our ears ☺️ "Error code" digs NIN vibes a lot ahah Cannot wait to grab one but was very hesitant between x8 and a 3rd wave.
303/td-3 has the worst sequence programming of all time.
Man this thing just sounds good
Gotta say - Neutron is one of the coolest looking shit in this budget. Love the logo, red colour with silver knobs - - ugly?? nooo..strange man....greetings from Finland. Cool video, though, thanks.
RD 6 sounds better imho. It has individual outputs too. The korg volca bass seems cooler, it is meant to be used as an acid synth, but it has more than a single OSC, kinda mimicking to the minimoog. Beats is alright, it also has more functions like automations but the single output and snare kills it in a bad way, altought it can be modded.
I just ordered a copy for my birthday :3
The jx8p has velocity.
I can hear “it’s a sin” by the Pet Shop Boys in this. Same chord progression.
How you connect the Neutron with a sound card? Impossible for me to have a sound in my speakers!
Good good video, +1 suscriber! Thanks, I enjoy watching this!
Very nice review and great sounding patches, but have to say, from 0:12 to 0:32, you got me hooked up and had this listening on a loop for dozen of minutes long. So nice, so pleasant for my ears. Thank you for sharing this with us. All the best!
my dream synth
Mi e has been collecting dust for half a decade. No more. Thank you.
I totally agree, I would prefer the Behringer in the studio or live!
Funny enough, I've owned two different JX8Ps, and they IMO sound a little different. There is also some minor differences with front panel colors and one version has patch names on the front. I currently have a December '85 model (you can look the serial numbers) and I really like the sound of this one better. (The other one had the patch names on the front).
This is a fantastic demo of the synth. This is what we need, not technical break downs
Honestly, the board is a lot of real estate for some mundane yet classic sounds of 40 years ago. You’d think with all these knobs we could push the envelope a bit more.
Dope!
I just really want to know how you're not dropping voices with the Eno pad.
This synth is all over Orbital’s album. Sounds so much better than the Jupiter 8
B Jupiter 8
Where I can get those soundbanks
Can you get these patches ?
Excellent. patches here. Keep them coming. Fantastic to offer them up for download. Good karma for you :)
What the music for patch juno 60 at 1:56 please?
@1:04 That mini-moog oscillator drive
I’m looking forward to getting these patches. Sounds amazing! Subscribed!
An MKS-30 is not especially expensive, even modded. Modded, the feature set blows the 8P out of the water. It blows many more expensive synths out of the water!!! The Kiwi mod makes it into a MATRIX synth with additional LFOs and envelopes!!! Of course, you can mod a 3P, but an MKS takes up less space, and you don’t have to handle your vintage gear directly, just a keyboard controller. You could leave the MKS in a closed rack box with midi connections added to the exterior and never remove it aside any maintenance needed. Just need to have the presets listed somewhere, though. Or control it with a computer. Or a programmer designed for mods. Yes, I’ve considered it. But my needs lean more towards a TG77. A TG81x might do me, but why skimp, especially when you’re layering with heavy guitars, and are insane with nerdiness.
crazy sounding machines !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing sounds!
Another vote here on wanting to get hands on with these sounds, as lately I've been hit with the more-sounds bug for Polybrute. The flexibility of it is just crazy.
The Jupiter 8 sounds slightly warmer and fatter. But I have huge affection for the Jupiter 6 it's younger brother. I certainly wouldn't turn a Jupiter 6 away, still a great synth in it own way.
SICK!
❤ we are ready for part 2 !!!
OB X8 owner and could use assistance it creating certain synth sounds, are you available for this process?
Please continue your inside synthesis tutorial!
Extraordinary content! We need more… Thank you!
You make it sing so well🔊✨✨✨ can’t wait to pick one up. Seems like there will never be a dull moment with this beautiful creation.
Intresting vid, I often swap out my Td3 and Volca bass back and forth , when linked via a effects pedal like a Specular Tempus it opens up a new world of sound exploration.. Great vid..
